Nowadays, it doesn't come as a surprise to see everyone hooked to mobile phones. Gone are the good old days where we could reach a library, leaf over books, some smelling musty, though! It is a pure joy to read books, to see colorful printed matter, or in black and white! Reading is a swell habit that makes one's vocabulary richer. Nothing can equal the luxury of reading a favorite novel, all curled up on a comfortable couch. There are books for every age. 19th of June marks the death anniversary of Mr. P.N.Panicker, who is the father of the library movement in Kerala. Let us bring back the glorious days of visiting a friendly library at schools or in the neighborhood. On the National Day of Reading, let us inculcate the habit of reading between the lines.
