The UN has made it mandatory for children of all countries, races, or creeds to be free of any hard or otherwise child labor. The 12th of June is observed as Anti-Child Labor Day. Child labor manifests in illegal mining, construction sites, or making firecrackers or at hazardous places, to name a few. This is seen especially in the poor or developing nations. In Africa, child labor is rampant. Children are denied their basic rights to education, health, and hygiene. Child labor can be seen in some Asian countries as well. In our country, RTI helps children belonging to the lower strata of society to be educated in any state or city. Let us eliminate child labor by acting on our commitment as every child is precious. They need to be nurtured, not labored.
