The Dalit Icon, dedicated all his life to the drown trodden, the under privileged, and the un-touchables is none other than Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. He was popularly known as Baba Saheb Ambedkar. Dr. Ambedkar has this exemplary credit of drafting the Indian Constitution that is relevant even to this day!
His staunch belief about equality and brotherhood, abolishing the caste system that meant all the bonafide citizens of our great country were equal!
Let us follow the standards and principles of Dr. Ambedkar as a proud citizen of this great country!
Also, the 13th of April reminds us of a sad day. When the then British General Micheal O'Dwyer ordered 'fire' closing all the exits of Jallianwala Baugh, thousands of innocent children, women and men were massacred ruthlessly. This day is one of the bloodiest dates in the pages of India's independence struggle. Let us give a moment of peace and prayer for all the people who lost their precious lives on this day.
