This green leafy plant that grows in central Asia, rich in cancer-fighting anti oxidants, loaded with iron, calcium, folic acid, vitamins A, C, and K, plus protein and fiber, is none other than SPINACH or more famously known as PAALAK in our country! 
There are mothers who goad their children to eat this power packed green just like Popeye the Sailor Man. Spinach got more recognition from Popeye and it did help many children to eat spinach and become strong just like their hero...Popeye! 

Spinach can be eaten raw, tossed in salads, cooked with Paneer to make the delectable Palak Paneer or in Rotis. Any way to give the right amount of iron to women and children? Spinach is easy to grow. It can be grown even on a small patch of kitchen garden, as we can source fresh greens for the entire family. Healthy habits and eating begin right at home.
