The 6th of March is remembered as 'the world dentists' day' as we take a moment to thank our dentists who help us to keep all our 32 s as white as pearls. It is said that oral hygene reflects our general health! How do we maintain our pearky whites? Well, it starts right from when a baby is in the womb. A mother-to-be eats healthy food that is rich in calcium and fiber, and chances are that a baby will develop healthy bones and teeth in the growing years. Furthermore, if a new mother nurses her baby for about a year, certainly the baby grows stronger and healthier and develops good immunity. As a child grows, oral health must be looked into. Brushing our teeth twice a dsy, not consuming sticky, sugary foods like chocolates, ice cream before going to bed will prevent tooth decay. Eating junk is another major concern. And for any concerns, we rush to a dentist who sets our teeth and gums healthy. Let us remember to safeguard our teeth as these are the only ones that will last forever. Let us also take a minute to thank our dentist for helping us to smile big!!
