Ganesha, the Lord of Knowledge, and who is worshipped first on all auspicious days, the first offering made to the Lord is well known. Ganesha Chatruthi is a community festival as well as most of us bring in the Lord and worship with great festive fervor and piety! The Lord's favorite sweet, Modak, is prepared and offered to Him and distributed to the rest of the family. Every nook and corner of the neighborhood puts up Pandals and worship Lord Ganesha, with many cultural activities. The harbinger of peace, knowledge, forgiveness, and love to His Mother is emphasized. Let us invoke the Lord's blessings not only for our near and dear ones but for humanity. The management of St. Sophia Convent High School wishes everyone a HAPPY GANESHA CHATRUTHI.
