Jim Corbett National Tiger Reserve has made its mark on the horizon of tiger conservation in India. Jim Corbett was a Britisher who had his family settled in the hills of Nainital. His profession brought him close to forests in Uttarakhand, and he's known to have gunned down many man-eating tigers and leopards. He has written many books that have earned him critical acclaim! He was a naturalist who knew the importance of conserving our forests. The 25th of July happens to be his birth anniversary. Let us laud this gentleman for his conservative efforts.
